Services

legal service means any service that may only be provided by a person licensed, admitted, or otherwise qualified to practice law in the jurisdiction in which the service is provided. If the same service could be provided by a person who is not a lawyer, such a service is not a legal service for the purposes of this rule.

01

Slip and Fall Accidents

"Slip and fall" is a term used for a personal injury case in which a person slips or trips and is injured on someone else's property. These cases usually fall under the broader category of cases known as "premises liability" claims. Slip and fall accidents usually occur on property (or "premises") owned or maintained by someone else, and the property owner may be held legally responsible.

04

Construction Accidents

Construction accidents are the result of injuries and/or damage sustained as a result of endeavors to build, improve, repair, clean, demolish, or generally construct that take place in a specific facility. Construction accidents can range from property damage to personal injury.

07

Motor Accidents

Motor vehicle accident law refers to an area of law that is a hybrid of traffic law and personal injury law. The law involves the determination of fault in a traffic collision and is determined almost exclusively on the laws of the state where the accident occurred.

02

Medical Malpractice

Medical malpractice occurs when a health care professional or provider neglects to provide appropriate treatment, omits to take an appropriate action, or gives substandard treatment that causes harm, injury, or death to a patient.

05

Asbestos Injuries

Asbestos liability means a company is legally responsible for injuries resulting from asbestos exposure. If a court finds a company liable for injuries caused by asbestos exposure, the individual who was injured by the asbestos exposure may be able to sue for damages.

Thousands of people are diagnosed with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases each year. Yet, asbestos injuries and their related costs are absolutely preventable.

08

Class Actions

A class action is a legal proceeding in which one or several plaintiffs bring a lawsuit on behalf of a larger group, known as the class. The judgment or settlement agreed to arise from the suit covers all members of the group or class, where penalties paid by the defendant are divvied up among class members.

03

Product Liability

Products liability refers to the liability of any or all parties along the chain of manufacture of any product for damage caused by that product. This includes the manufacturer of component parts (at the top of the chain), an assembling manufacturer, the wholesaler, and the retail store owner (at the bottom of the chain). Products containing inherent defects that cause harm to a consumer (or someone to whom the product was loaned, given, etc.) of the product would be the subjects of products liability suits.

06

Work - Related Injuries

A work injury is an accident that occurs while someone is doing something on behalf of their employer. Most injuries counted as work-related are those that happen in the workplace. However, work injuries may also occur in company-owned trucks and other spots, if the staff member was doing something related to the work responsibilities and duties with which they are tasked.

09

Wrongful Death

When a person dies or is killed due to the negligence or misconduct of another — including murder — the surviving members of the victim's family may sue for wrongful death. Most wrongful death lawsuits follow in the wake of criminal trials, using similar evidence but with a lower standard of proof. Regardless, someone found liable for wrongful death may or may not be convicted of a crime associated with that death.
